Events and Activities

Friday, Feb 16, 2024, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Come and join us for a Family Skate Party at the Dorset Ice Palace with music, a campfire and hot chocolate.  If the ice is not good enough for skating, we will have a community dance party in the parking lot at the Centennial Lions Park.

Saturday. Feb 17, 2024, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Snowball presents a wide variety of activities including skating, cardboard toboggan races, human foosball, face painting, a hockey shoot-out, a photo booth, silent auction, snow maze and more!

Must see shows by the Great Canadian Lumber Jacks, Junk Yard Symphony and the wildlife caller are always crowd-pleasers!

You can try your hand at the buzzer towers, enjoy some maple taffy and take a virtual dog sled tour. Enjoy some great food and shopping at the vendor booths, and make sure you stop by The Dorset Heritage Museum between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Saturday. Feb 17, 2024, 6 p.m.

The event wraps up with Hockey Night in Dorset on Saturday evening at the Dorset Ice Palace on Main Street across from the Dorset Recreation Centre. Come out and cheer on the teams playing for the Dorset Cup! Dorset vs. Lake of Bays
